Dokall generates all required sizes for iOS (iPhone, iPad), watchOS, macOS, and Android (mdpi through xxxhdpi), plus App Store and Play Store marketing sizes. Output is a ZIP with the standard folder structure.
What image format should I upload?
Upload a square image at least 1024x1024 pixels for best results. PNG with transparency works well. JPG, WebP, GIF, and other formats are accepted - all outputs are PNG.
Does it generate Contents.json for Xcode?
Yes. The iOS output includes an Assets.xcassets folder with Contents.json files matching Xcode's expected structure. Drag the folder into your Xcode project.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Icon generation runs entirely in your browser. Your source image is resized and packaged locally into a ZIP download.
What is the Android adaptive icon?
Android adaptive icons have a foreground and background layer, allowing the OS to apply different shapes (circle, squircle, rounded square). Dokall generates standard mipmap icons. For adaptive icons, you may need to separate foreground and background manually.
