Free Online Proxy Checker
Testing a batch of proxies manually is tedious. Dokall checks each proxy directly on our servers - your credentials are never sent to third-party checker services. Supports authenticated proxies in common formats.
Supports authenticated proxies in IP:PORT:USER:PASS and USER:PASS@IP:PORT formats. Useful for QA, scraping infrastructure checks, and network troubleshooting.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a proxy server?
A proxy server acts as an intermediary between your device and the internet. Requests go through the proxy, which forwards them to the destination. Proxies are used for anonymity, geo-unblocking, load balancing, and corporate network filtering.
What information does the proxy checker show?
Dokall tests your proxy connection and reports whether it is working, the response time, detected IP address, and location information. This helps verify that traffic is actually routing through the proxy.
What proxy types are supported?
The checker works with HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS proxies. Enter the proxy host, port, and credentials if required. SOCKS5 proxies need to support TCP connections for the test to succeed.
Why is my proxy showing as not working?
Common causes: wrong host or port, expired credentials, proxy server is down, firewall blocking the connection, or the proxy does not support the protocol you selected. Verify settings with your proxy provider.
Is my proxy password sent to Dokall?
Proxy credentials are used to connect through your proxy from the browser. Dokall does not store proxy credentials. The connection test goes through your configured proxy to an external IP detection service.
